Our community partner, the YMCA Childcare, shares space in our school building and provides childcare services for our neighbourhood. The Settlement Worker provides support to our newcomer families.  We also have other community Partnerships though Malvern Community Centre.

School Focus For This School Year

We will continue to improve literacy through our school-wide guided reading and literacy block; develop numeracy and  science though integrated STEM programming; ensure Indigenous Education is part of all learning; improve our understanding of equity education by ensuring anti-oppression and anti-discrimination practices are implemented using Culturally Relevant and Responsive Resources; promote inclusion and identity through lived experiences.

We strive to elevate student voice in the school. We promote student leadership through Student Council, Eco Schools and Safety Patrollers.
