PARENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Chartland's vibrant School Council understands the importance of partnering and its positive affect on student achievement and school performance. The School Advisory Council (SAC) meets approximately five times a year to discuss matters that impact students and the overall school climate. Initiatives like the Read-A-Thon, selling food during school events, movie nights, pizza days etc. have fostered a positive community culture.
Chartland houses two rich and diverse community partners. Chartland Child Care is situated in our building and is a wonderful place for younger children to become accustomed to the facility before joining our JK program. Delphi Academy, located on the second floor, offers unique programming for high school students. We also support Faculties of Education, Agincourt Community Services, the Terry Fox Run, and The Royal Canadian Legion.
