Alexmuir Junior Public School's Mission Statement

All Alexmuir students are encouraged to develop to their fullest academic potential.  They take advantage of opportunities offered through regular and co-curricular programs.  All staff are dedicated and talented people who share a diverse range of interests and expertise with the children at our school.

School Focus For This Year

This year at Alexmuir, we have a school-wide focus on technology. We are proud to say that we currently have Smart Boards in all grade 1 to 6 classrooms and our library. We are working towards introducing Smart Boards in the ESL classroom and our Kindergarten classrooms as soon as possible.

As a staff, we work monthly within our Smart Board Professional Learning Groups to support each other’s growth with this fabulous technology.  Our students have embraced this new technology and are more engaged than ever in the learning opportunities provided by our staff.
