Health & Safety Issue Observed	fire exit route sign (yellow TDSB) - not posted / requires updating
Health & Safety Issue Details	Yellow fire exit route signs, for ALL ROOMS in Junior School: (1) Directions refer to obsolete legacy exit numbers instead of current exit numbers used by the fire department. In most cases both legacy (metal shields) and current (bright tiles) numbers are posted in hallways at the top of exit staircases, however, this creates confusion over which door the class is being directed to. (2) The yellow" signs are so old that they have essentially faded to white background

Corrective Action	Principal to arrange for new Fire Exits placards (9951). Additional copies can be obtained through the Distribution Centre. This is a TDSB Practice, not a violation of the Fire Code.
