The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) welcomes your input regarding the draft Fundraising Policy (P021) (the “Policy”) which supports the TDSB's commitment to fiscal responsibility and financial viability, outlines expectations and provides direction to TDSB staff and members of school communities when planning and implementing fundraising activities. The Policy is aligned with the Education Act and the Ministry of Education’s Fundraising Guideline.
Providing students with equitable access to educational and enriching learning opportunities is a primary goal of the TDSB and your feedback on the draft Policy will help the Board achieve this objective. Feedback gathered through the consultation process will help inform the decisions of Trustees regarding final recommendations for the Policy at a Board meeting held in the fall of 2023.
