Girls' Outdoor Cricket

The 2016 Girls' Outdoor Cricket season is coming to a close! This program has continued to expand over the year and TDSSAA is proud of the development of their players.   This year, girls had the opportunity to compete in the spring where successful teams would move on to the City Championship. Thanks to all athletes, coaches and parents that made this great season possible! We hope to see the same enthusiasm next year!

City Championships 2016

York Memorial CI and West Humber CI competed in the Championship this year. It was an exciting match at Ashtonbee park as both teams tied after 8 overs. The game went to a tie breaker where both teams had to offer 5 bowlers who would attempt to hit the wicket. In the end York Memorial won 2-0 in the Super Over. Congratulations to both teams for playing exceptionally well. We hope to see this program expand as the sport has been gaining popularity!
