Subway Academy One features a wide range of academic subjects held in small classes in a warm environment. Our program is best suited to those who have established some foundational skills at the academic level; nevertheless, young people entering our program with few credits are often able to build these skills through hard work and one on one attention. We provide regular classroom instruction meeting three times a week for 60 minute classes.
Our program offers an extensive range of academic courses in the senior levels as well as the full range of Math and senior level Sciences.
We are accustomed to working with young people in crisis and encourage parental/guardian involvement. Our school accepts students aged 16 to 21.
Mentoring Program
Helping students achieve success is our mission. For some students, failing to attend classes can hinder their ability to realize what they are capable of achieving.
We are a semestered school where you can take up to four courses each semester to accommodate other responsibilites you may have in your life.
You will receive the attention you need to succeed. We give you ongoing support and mentorship.
Warm and Caring
The small school environment provides warmth and concern, which enriches student/teacher relations, student confidence and a sense of belonging. Our small class sizes makes a big difference to the personal attention you receive. Class size ranges from 18 to 22 students, to some classes as small as 5 or 6 students. With a dedicated and committed teaching staff, we have developed great relationships with our students.

University Style of Learning
Our students value our independent learning style. We have developed effective tools to deliver our courses using two common university models. We teach sections of course material with structured projects, formal essays, class presentations, individual research assignments and tests.
