"Amor Doctrinae Floreat"
(Let the love of learning flourish.)
For over seventy-five years, Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute has been an important part of the North Toronto community. From the school's inception, Lawrence Park's teachers, students and parents have worked together to support academic excellence. The school remains committed to providing a rich and varied program. We encourage higher order thinking and teach students the research and study skills required for effective use of information technology.

Academics
We are very proud of our students and their achievements while recognizing that there is always room for growth and improvement. Our goal is to improve on last year's achievements. In addition, 20% of our graduating students were offered university scholarships last year and 97% of our grade 10 students were successful on the Province-wide Literacy Test in March 2012.
