Right to Play Program

At Keele, we have linked "play" to our character development focus and School Community Building themes and activities.  Classes are being taught "Right to Play" cooperative games and to practise fairness, teamwork, problem-solving, inclusion and equity. Through the Right to Play Foundation, our school community is looking after the rights of children around the world to play at school, in their neighbourhoods with the support of equipment and coaches. This initiative connects our students to the global community.

Primary and Junior Student Recognition Assemblies

Each month, students are selected for citizenship and academic achievement by teachers.  They are recognized during an in class assembly, attended by parents. Those recognized practise the values of our motto "Let's Learn Together" through conscious demonstration of compassion, friendship, cooperation, problem-solving, celebration of diversity and academic success.
