A Y Jackson Secondary School (Gr 10 - 12)
50 Francine Dr, North York, ON
A.Y. Jackson (1882 –1974) was a Canadian painter and founding member of the Group of Seven. These artists were considered bold, because the Canadian wilderness had previously been considered too rugged and wild to be painted. In 1967 he was made a Companion of the Order of Canada.
