Chalkfarm Public School is proud to be a Model School for Inner Cities in the Toronto District School Board.  Our school culture reflects the essential components of the Model School Vision which encompass equity , inclusiveness, community and achievement.  Since 1960 Chalkfarm Public School has served the educational needs of the community situated in the Jane and Wilson neighbourhood. The houses and high rise apartment buildings of this urban setting stand in contrast to the wonderful opportunities for environmental studies available to Chalkfarm as it backs onto a lovely natural ravine.
Chalkfarm is a medium sized elementary school serving Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5.  Read more
