General Mercer Junior Public School is located near Old Weston Road and St.Clair Avenue. The school was originally built in 1923. General Mercer offers Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 programs. Classes are supported by French, Music, Reading Recovery and Physical Education Teachers as well as a Teacher Librarian. The school shares space with an active Parenting Centre and a Daycare Centre that offers pre-school and school-age programs.
  • Our Computer Lab enables students to learn the basics of web-based research, how to create multi-media presentations using the data projector, word processing and the responsible use of the Internet.
  • Our Literacy Room provides resources for our teachers and levelled reading materials for our students.
