Shorheam Public School is a school for "achievers" . Since 1970, the school's purpose has been to serve this richly diverse community. Shoreham Public School is a safe community school where students, staff, parents and community partners work together to ensure success.

We believe that, "All children can learn" and in high expectations for all. The school population is greatly enriched by various ethno-cultural groups including the Somali, Vietnamese, Caribbean and West African nations.  There is a long and rich tradition in our school of environmental leadership, academic excellence and compassion for all.  We are inspired by the imagination, energy and creativity of our students and know they will contribute greatly to society. 

Shoreham is proud to be a Cluster school as part of the Model Schools for Inner Cities program in the TDSB. This includes a focus on Innovative Teaching Practices, Support Services and Programs for Students and an ongoing focus on Parent and Community Engagement. As part of the Firgrove cluster of schools, Shoreham benefits greatly through programs such as Hearing and Vision Clinics, Ballroom Dancing, Experiential Learning, Steel Pan and Professional Development for staff with a focus on Culturally Responsive Pedagogy.
