City School Difference
We provide a rigorous academic program while helping our students learn to internalize their own motivation. We bring critical thinking, social issues and enrichment into the curriculum through guest speakers, special course units, field trips, organized events, seminars, artist-in-the-school programs and workshops.
Our programs are designed to build iniative and the confidence to share individual thoughts and ideas. We have a regular timetable and daily classes, which deliver the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum but with the intellectual elbow room for an issues orientation.
Experience amazing guest speakers. We have hosted many speakers, including David Morley of Medecins sans Frontierres, writer Lisa Rundle and a federal all-candidates meeting.
