Third Annual South Asian Community Festival - June 2

On June 2, Stephen Leacock CI (2450 Birchmount Road) will host the third annual South Asian Community Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. With a theme of “Diversity in Action”, the festival’s day of entertainment, demonstrations and special presentations will include:

• Entertainment from local elementary and secondary students including traditional and contemporary Bengali, Gujarati, Nepalese, Punjabi, Sinhalese, Tamil and Vietnamese groups.
• Cricket, cooking and yoga demonstrations
• Cultural displays
• Presentations of Excellence in Education Awards

This free event includes a light lunch and parking is free.
