All schools open Monday June 28th

Following the G20 in Toronto this past weekend the TDSB welcomes back all students and staff to schools that had been closed due to the G20 on Thursday and Friday. Transportation will be operating across the system although some delays may be encountered across the city.

This past weekend has been historic in many ways and the TDSB would like to take this opportunity to thank the many staff who worked over the weekend to ensure schools close to the G20 remained safe, secure and clean. The Board would also like to acknowledge the patience and support of parents and the community during this extraordinary event.

The immediacy of news brought many images, some disturbing, to all of us. Students watching these images may still feel uneasy. Supports will be available at school should students need to talk about what they have seen. Students can discuss their feelings with teachers, social work staff or other adult support available at the school.
