TDESAA North Conference May 15 qualifying meetThe second TDESAA North Conference track and field qualifying meet took place on May 15, 2013 at Esther Shiner Stadium. All day, the bleachers were roaring with pride, as students Grades 2-8 took to the track, sandpit and shot-put pits and competed to their heart’s content. Brave, young athletes dealt with bizarre weather conditions, as there were periods of drizzling rain, scorching heat, and gusty winds throughout the day. Students demonstrated versatility and stamina, battling the unwelcoming weather conditions and representing their schools proudly! Congratulations to all athletes on a successful day!

| Welcome to TDSB Scoreboard! TDSB students participate in dozens of sports at multiple levels each year. In order for athletes to realize all the benefits of school sport , TDSSAA (secondary) and TDESAA (elementary) work diligently to provide a healthy, fun, safe and competitive environment where students can learn the rigor and discipline necessary for success. Our athletes have the opportunity to improve their fitness, social, mental, emotional and academic well being while taking pride in themselves as well as having respect for their opponents. We believe that athletics enables students to become more involved in the life of a school. Athletics can improve school spirit and give students the opportunity to support many teams and their school. Athletics also improve students' fitness levels and to help establish life-long participation in physical fitness activities. At the TDSB, we work to ensure all of our students are participating in a safe environment. We follow the Ontario Physical Education Safety Guidelines – provincially recognized safety guidelines that contain the mandatory minimum standards that must be met by teachers/coaches when addressing the safety components of the curricular, intramural and interschool programs. In this section, students, parents, and alumni can follow their school team and keep track of the latest developments in TDSB sports leagues. So remember to visit this site often and root for the home team! ![]()
