School Support Teams (SST) help facilitate open discussion of student-related strengths and needs, within the school context. They actively work with the student and parents to ensure student success.
In support of the TDSB Urban Diversity Strategy: Focus on Student Achievement (1367K 9/15/2009) plan, the SST provides a consistent process for identifying our most vulnerable students. The SST creates an opportunity to develop, review, monitor and evaluate coordinated plans of action to raise the academic achievement levels of all students.
