Alumni
Central Commerce's excellence is rooted in many things - solid community support, a strong work ethic among its staff and a student body dedicated to making their school the best it can be. Our Alumni exemplifies this as a strong body, providing a link to the school for many graduates and former staff members. They played a significant role during our Centennial Celebrations. This raised over $10,000 for future scholarships.
The Arts
Our hallways can often be mistaken for an art gallery where student work, always of a very high quality, is on display. Our Arts program includes courses in visual design, photography, digital media, and arts and crafts. Our SHSM in Arts&Culture, provides students with opportunities to explore careers in the industry through field trips, guest speakers and workshops. Read more about The Arts
Athletics
Central Commerce has a history of active participation in a variety of athletic events which include: soccer, volleyball, badminton, basketball, archery, cricket, tennis, table tennis, and track. Through our SHSM in Health&Wellness, students gain hands-on experience using industry equipment and practice current techniques in a variety of simulated healthcare scenarios.
English Language Learners (ELL) and Languages
We offer a comprehensive program with extensive support at all levels. Beginners receive extra language instruction in their first two semesters. Extra support is provided in core courses offered exclusively to ELLs. Additional courses focused on presentation & literacy skills. Extensive information technology integration/support through the use of a mobile computing lab.
Co-op and Business
In their senior years Central Commerce students have the opportunity to experience a variety of co-op placements. In addition, we house a Continuous Intake Co-op Program that allows students to earn credits while working.
CCC has a long history of delivering an excellent business program which is well represented in our current courses.
