Central Commerce Collegiate Institute
Central Commerce Collegiate serves a population that includes students from almost every ethnic background in the city. A school culture has developed that reflects the diversity of our students. It is a school where all students feel comfortable, welcome, and safe. CCC provides opportunities for students to enrich their personal and academic achievement by providing a demanding curriculum that incorporates academics with the Arts, Co-Op, Athletics, and new this year, a Bike Repair Program. CCC is a dynamic school with a wide offering of programs for every student. Starting in Grade 9, all students are welcomed to our school with orientation programs in August led by our student leaders.
Courses are offered at the University, University/College and College levels for Grade 12 students. Most of our graduates proceed to post-secondary education at university or college. Grade 11 offerings at the university, college or open levels allow for a range of post-secondary destination planning.
Beyond the classroom, Central Commerce offers a full range of co-curricular activities, including clubs and athletic teams for both males and females. Leadership opportunities are provided through participation in the Student Council and a credit course in Leadership. There is also support for individual students through Conflict Resolution programs.
