To the Parents/Guardians, Students and Staff of Central Commerce Collegiate:

We are writing to inform you of the change to the Central Commerce Collegiate leadership team, effective September 1

As you may be aware, David Buhler, the current Principal of Central Commerce Collegiate will be retiring as of August 31

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Iwona Kurman to the position of Principal at Central Commerce Collegiate. She is currently the Principal at Heydon Park Secondary School. Ms. Kurman’s academic background in Mathematics and Sciences will serve to enhance the current leadership team. Her connection to the students and her advocacy on behalf of the entire school community has been legendary at Heydon Park SS, Lakeshore CI and Weston CI. Her commitment, her tireless energy, her rigor and sense of humour have touched all the students, staff and families under her leadership.

Principal Iwona Kurman and Vice-Principals Susana Arnott and Nancy Martins are committed to working collaboratively with the Central Commerce community to support a well-rounded education experience for all of our students.
