Kipling CI recently hosted its second annual STEM Olympics for grade 7 students. Thirty-six students from Dixon Grove JMS, Hilltop MS, Islington JMS, and West Humber JMS competed in a variety of inquiry-based events emphasizing teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.

Kipling CI volunteer students created and delivered events designed to reflect the domains of mathematics, science, engineering and technology. This provided an opportunity for  Kipling CI students to hone their leadership skills and share their passion for science and mathematics with their peers.

At the end of the day, the gold and silver medalists were from Hilltop MS and Islington JMS respectively, with Hilltop MS finishing as overall team champion.
