Congratulations to Raphael Faiola from Lawrence Park CI for winning the National Finals at the 2017 CPF National Concours d’art oratoire on June 3 in Ottawa. What an amazing accomplishment!

This year marked the 33rd anniversary of CPF Ontario’s Concours d'art oratoire, the largest annual French public-speaking event for students in Grades 4 to 12 who are enrolled in French Second Language (FSL) programs in Ontario schools.

A total of 301 students from across Ontario qualified for this year’s event and eleven students from the Toronto District School Board won awards at the event on May 6, organized by Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) and the Ontario Modern Language Teachers’ Association.

We are proud of all students who participated and congratulate Raphael for his incredible work at the National Finals this past weekend.
