The Adam Beck program is based on the Ontario and TDSB initiatives. We aim to:
Provide a warm, welcoming, and safe learning environment in which our students build self esteem, confidence and learn to work together in mutual respect and trust. Meet the needs of the whole child - intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. Help all students develop skills, knowledge, attitudes and values necessary to strive for academic excellence in all areas of the curriculum and to become self-disciplined, life long learners. Maintain and enhance partnerships between home, school, the community and among staff members. Support programs and initiatives which develop respect for the environment and the wise use of resources.

Adam Beck Earns GOLD Eco-Status
Adam Beck is certified by the TDSB as a GOLD EcoSchool. Being an EcoSchool requires commitment from the whole school community to implement environmental initiatives that help reduce our school’s environmental impact. Our Eco-School Committee is comprised of students, staff & parents who lead the way in making our school greener. With the aid of our community we fundraise to plant bulbs/perennials & mulch trees yearly. Within our school we have weekly recycling, Waste-Free Lunches, and an e-mail communication system that enables to communicate with our parent body.
Our School
Adam Beck Public School is an 80 year old school located in the "Upper Beach" area of Toronto.
The school has an enrolment of about 380 students. Most students were born in Canada (96%) and most are from homes where English is the only language spoken.
Adam Beck is a dual track school offering both the English stream (JK-Grade 6) and the French stream (Senior Kindergarten - Grade 6) programs.
The Adam Beck Community Centre is attached to the school; this allows for shared use of space between Toronto Parks and Recreation and the Adam Beck School Community.
