Sir Sandford Fleming Academy offers a full breadth of applied and academic programs for workplace, college and university bound students. SSFA delivers its strengths from focused programs in Co-op, Arts, Sports and Technology (C.A.S.T.). All students are recognized and valued as key contributing members of the school's curricular and extra-curricular activities.
With an emphasis on Co-op, this state of the art secondary school assists students in developing a personalized learner pathway. Experienced staff in guidance work with teachers, administrators and parents to ensure each student's goals are highly supported towards university, college, apprenticeships and the workplace.

The Arts
The Arts have always been a great strength at SSFA. Our students excel within the broadest range of Arts choices including Dance, Visual Arts, Drama, Music, Ceramics and Photography Program.
Sports and Co-Curricular
Sports leadership is emphasized throughout all teams such as Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Wrestling, Boxing, Basketball, Cricket, Track and Field, and many more. Our students are all provided with a solid Phys-Ed Program that sets the foundation with a top-notch Weight Room Facility.
Technology
Technology plays a vital role in the teaching and learning at SSFA. Our learners develop effective technology integration through the use of our classroom computer-labs and the first Production Coloured Device Printer in a school - located in our Document Centre.
Special Education Support
Special Education programming to meet the needs and accommodations outlined in Individual Education Plans. Students have access to our Language lab of computers with specialized software developed to assist identified students.
