Students in grades 7 to 12 create art works in a variety of media (e.g. painting, sculpture, photography, film), that say something powerful and meaningful. Teacher and artist mentors support the students as they develop their creative voices and artistic skills through engagement in a rich creative process. A jury of professional artists will review the students’ proposals, provide personal feedback, and select works for a final exhibition at Artscape Youngplace from May 4-18, 2017.
