The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

Mountview Alternative Junior School

"Let's Learn Together"

Mountview Alternative shares space with Keele Street Public School located in the High Park area near Bloor and Keele Streets. The school has approximately 100 students from KD to grade 6.  The school benefits from sharing specialist teachers with Keele in Music, Physical Education, French and Library. We offer swim classes during the school day in our full sized swimming pool.  The schools also share spaces with Keelmount Daycare Centre and the Keele Community Centre.  The site is used for International Language classes in Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Romanian, German and Mandarin-Simple on Tuesdays and on the evenings and weekends for community recreational and pool activities.


Our School Community Motto is "Let's Learn Together". We are committed to fostering a sense of connection to each other and the greater community, a deep respect for the diversity of all individuals, and a true joy of learning through creative, responsive and ongoing collaboration amongst all students, staff, parents and wider community members.
