Toronto District School Board

Home Schooling

In order to home school your child, a notification of intent must be submitted to the Family of Schools Superintendent for your area. This notification must be provided in writing prior to September 1 every year that your child is being home schooled, until he or she reaches the age of 18.

The TDSB does not provide a home schooling program or supplies and materials to parents for home schooling purposes. Please contact your Superintendents' office with any questions.
