Software Transition Bulletin #2

The new eBase system for processing TDSB Facility Permits will open to public users next week, to accept permit bookings from September, 2016 to June 30, 2017.  A link to the portal providing access into the system will be posted on our website.  Please check our webpage on Thursday, May 26, 2016.

In preparation for opening this new booking system, we have been able to copy over most of our current client information.  For each organization, there is a User ID and temporary password assigned to the main Administrator.  The login credentials will be issued to this person via email.  Please login within one month in order to activate the account.  Additional users under any organization can be registered, subject to the organization's Administrator approving the request, and the user validating the email address.  The Administrator and approved additional users may submit permit applications for their organization.

Permit documentation will be maintained online.  For example, a valid insurance certificate must be uploaded before a permit will be approved.  For non-profit organizations that benefit from subsidized rental rates, documentation to confirm non-profit operation must also be uploaded.  Where such documentation has already been provided to us and remains valid as of September 1, 2016, we have attached the documents to the organization's account online.  If you have previously submitted documentation to us but do not see this in your account, please accept our apology for the error and kindly upload it as soon as possible.

Cut-off Date for 2016-17 Applications

The TDSB permit policy specifies that June 1 is the cut-off date by which renewal requests must be received.  Due to our delay in opening up the new system to accept applications, this cut-off date is extended, for this year only, to June 20, 2016.  After June 20th, renewal requests will no longer retain priority over new applications.

User Training

Before using the system, please spend 10 minutes to watch an introductory video which will be available on the User Login page.  There will also be help screens and tutorials throughout the booking process.

Please also check out the Frequently Asked Questions section.  Do not hesitate to contact us if you have further enquiries.

We are confident that this new user-friendly system will help us achieve better efficiency and customer satisfaction.  We look forward to processing your permits and welcoming you to our facilities.
