The TDSB - Community Services Unit operates and offers these free* programs and services to community members' support employment goals. Registration is required and individuals must meet eligibility criteria to access services.

  • Next-Steps Employment Centres provide job seekers and employers with a full range of free employment/recruitment services and supports at 7 locations - Toronto, Mississauga and Vaughan.

  • Scarborough Centre for Employment Accessibility is a drop-in Resource Centre for job seekers, including persons with disabilities, offering skills development for employment, job search workshops, and MS Office tutorials. Assistive technologies and accessible resources are also available.

  • Studio500 Hairstylist Training helps aspiring hairstylists gain industry professional experience through our Hairstylist Pre-Apprenticeship and Hairstyling Apprenticeship programs to help them reach their full potential in the field. *While Studio500's pre-apprenticeship program is free, the Apprenticeship program is a low-cost program.

Many of our programs work directly with employers to job match candidates. You can find our employer partners' current job postings here.

For companies and organizations looking to hire or provide staff training, we also offer help with the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) application.
